Pet Projects

I've been wanting to learn the perl language for quite a while now, but I've been lacking in actual programmes needing writing. All that changed with the Dungeons and Dragons campaign I've been writing, which will see playtime after the beginning of the year. I'm learning to code in perl because of a role playing game... dear gods...

See, the trouble comes in that I actually need to know the phases of the moons (yes, there are two), in a 13 month calendar, and an astrological system for which one must account for now and then. Don't believe Me? What is the net effect on a werewolf under the full moon of Midyear's day, when the base character took the Born under the Full Moon feat?

No clue? Me neither... but My programme will!
